I understand the topic marker is for making general statements or facts, but the subject marker is not. So what IS the subject marker for other than to confuse sentence structure? If we were speaking ASL, both topic & subject, I'd say "The train has left the station... " More simply, this escapes me...

Thank you for your very helpful explanation 😊

I have no special travel plans for this year, but my daughter and I have been in Korea last year in December, spending the Christmas days with our lovely Korean friends πŸ₯°

Have a great trip to Taiwan 😊

OMG! Haru is so cute, such a pretty color. Canada is awesome. I've only been to Calgary, but I loved it. I can't wait to see your journey to Taiwan, so exciting! I just got back from New York. It was my first time there and loved it. Have a safe trip and happy vacationing!!! 🐢🏝✈️🌍

μ„ μƒλ‹˜, buon viaggio e divertiti!

It's a bit tricky but I'll try.

1. μ €λŠ” ν•œκ΅ λ“œλΌλ§ˆλ₯Ό μ’‹μ•„μš”.

2. μ˜€λŠ˜μ€ μ € ν•œκ΅ λ“œλΌλ§ˆλ₯Ό μ΄νƒœμ› 클라쓰 λ΄μš”.

3. 였늘 μ €λŠ” ν•œκ΅ λ“œλΌλ§ˆλ₯Ό μ΄νƒœμ› 클라쓰 λ΄μš”.

In the second sentence I emphasized 였늘 using the topic marker, while in the third sentence I emphasized μ € using the subject marker. Did I understand the rule?

But could you explain this sentence of yours :

- κΉ€μΉ˜λŠ” 게 μ–΄λ¨Έλ‹ˆκ°€ λ§Œλ“€μ–΄μš”.

κΉ€μΉ˜ is the object that mom prepares... in fact I ask: "What does mom prepare?". Why wasn't κΉ€μΉœμ„ written?

I also thought it could be a passive form i.e. "κΉ€μΉ˜ is prepared by my mother". In this case the κΉ€μΉ˜ is emphasized, but why did you use the subject marker κ°€ with the μ–΄λ¨Έλ‹ˆ?

μ„ μƒλ‹˜, sorry for too many questions and again I wish you a good rest.
