This is going to be so fun! I feel like I've picked up on a lot by watching kdramas but I get frustrated by recognizing things like words or patterns but not understanding the "why" behind how they work, so I'm really excited to be able to start putting things together. Also, I think we need to start a petition for Netflix to allow more than one type of subtitles at the same time. I want the English subtitles so I know what's going on but also want the Hangul subtitles so I can get better with the characters and words.
This doesn’t “look” like one I’ve watched before so it will be extra fun! Have I told you how happy I am that you’re doing this class? For whatever reason, the way you teach is easier for my brain to understand. 🤔
Is the Kdrama "Reply 1988"? I agree that historical dramas are difficult...not too many people have to talk to a King or Prince on a daily basis! There are so many good choices I think it will be fun to follow one with a group of people at the same time. 👍🏻
I think watching together will be a lot more fun. It will be nice to have a group that is all reacting to the same scenes and circumstances. It is good Korean Drama in that not all things are coming up roses all the time. Not Hallmark to be sure. Looking forward to it!
안녕하세요. 감사합니다.
I sometimes recommend Korean shows for my language learning readers. I'd love to know your recommendations for TV shows with natural speech. Variety shows are probably my favourite for that!

Yeah so this will help you learn faster... I hope! And I might have a solution for the subtitles. I'll reveal it when we get together!
Ooh I'm super curious about the subtitles now, and even more excited about the course! 😄
It is Hospital Playlist! Great show 😍

Thank you so much Jo! A lot of my previous students told me that and I hope to do the same in this course!

Yeah I was thinking maybe I should let everyone choose their own show to watch but I thought we should all watch the same one together!

I don't think I've seen it, don't reconnize it! Love the idea of pin pointing the lesson from a show. That's my way of visual learning!
I haven't watched it yet either! And yeah, let's give it a go!
I really like the idea. I haven't watched that k drama though. I hope it's a good one🤔
I hope so too! But it should be good based on all the reviews out there!
I don't know, I just hope it's a good one.
I think this is a great I deal
I'm sure we are all going to enjoy it!

Yeah you can adapt to the pronunciation and intonation really fast by watching dramas! It's going to be a lot of fun. So exciting!
