Your content is so interesting! Thanks for all your hard work. Iā€™m always curious as to what you will write about next.

Have a great time in Vancouver! If you have time go to Sura Korean restaurant on Robson st. It doesnā€™t have the bbq but still pretty good. Also has a good vibe. If Koreans go there it must be good -thatā€™s my philosophy. Although you probably have great Korean food at home. And just a few steps further down you have Nukid cafĆ© with the best doughnuts. The strawberry one and one with sprinkled sugar were my favorites.

Yes you guessed it Iā€™m all about food:). Iā€™m French šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Btw I have been by your area where Coombs ā€œgoats on the roofā€ is. I always make sure to go there if we go to Tofino when I visit my sis. Going to Vancouver in May as a matter of fact. Let me know if you know of any great Korean places. There are not many surprisingly.

Have a great time in Van!

Hi Fabienne! As we will start getting into grammar, I'm gonna have to try my best not to make it so dryšŸ˜‚

My parents live on Robson and Denman street so I pretty much know every Korean restaurant located in downtown area. I used to work at a restaurant called Kosoo, also located on Robson, as a server before and you can check it out in May! If you want some good Korean donuts, you should check out Mello in Chinatown!

I've never heard of Coombs! I'll definitely check it out next time I visit the island! Thank you for your suggestions!

So far youā€™re doing everything right as far as Iā€™m concerned. I also appreciate how genuine you are. I was going to take lessons with you but then I ā€œ accostedā€ a Korean lady at Trader Joeā€™s and asked if someone could give me basic lessons. She actually told me she can in exchange for practicing her English with me.

She teaches Korean/American kids who speak the language but cannot read it or write it. I donā€™t know if she can guide me properly only time will tell. I just want to understand a little bit (I know Hangeul and a few words) so Iā€™m not clueless for when I hopefully go to Korea this sept/Oct or next spring. If I can speak Polish and French Korean shouldnā€™t be that hard eh? But it is:)

Omg my sister lived on Nelson st for 5 years ( right around the corner from your parents) and I never noticed that restaurant across from the grocery store. And they have ė–”ė³¶ģ“? Iā€™m in! So itā€™s close to Dynesty dumpling house! They have amazing dumplings.

That donut place reminds me of Polish donuts my grandmother used to make. Iā€™m so bringing my sister to both places! I might go twicešŸ˜‚ Iā€™ll be there ten days and have free time while sheā€™s working.

Thank you so much for the recommendation! Oh and if you can recommend a local authentic Korean grocery store Iā€™d like my sister to try kewpie Mayo and ģ•½ź³¼ cookies. Iā€™m addicted to them. I know kewpie is not Korean but I love it bec it reminds me of French Mayo.

I miss her living on Nelson as I would walk on the sea wall everyday and walk on Robson all the way to the center of town while visiting.

And no worries Iā€™m not going to send you long emails like this every time. šŸ˜‚

Again thanks for all your hard work, kindness and being so personable.

ź°ģ‚¬ķ•©ė‹ˆė‹¤! Merci! Gracias! Grazie! dziękuję!šŸ˜ƒ

ģ„ ģƒė‹˜, I knew the concept of the birth of the vowels that represent heaven, earth and human, but not that of the philosophical aspect.

Very interesting the idea of ā€‹ā€‹ķ•œźµ born from the combination of scientific consonants and philosophical vowels and that of Vowels Harmony where positive vowels are blended with negative ones, bright vowels with dark vowels like yin and yang. This explains why I, whose name is made up of positive or bright vowels, chose a teacher whose name has negative or dark vowels. We are part of one wholešŸ˜‡! EurekašŸ’”! Just kidding though now, when I write or read, I can't but think about what I learned today.

As for your trip, have fun, relax, rest and don't think about us who have to work and carry the weight of the world on our shoulders... šŸ˜‰

You mean the idea of ķ•œźø€, not ķ•œźµ! Haha

Yes! Both of your first and last name only have positive vowels and mine has negative vowels! That makes us a great pair!šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I love your approach!

Can I make a correction to your sentence in Italian? POSTI is the plural of POSTO which has various meanings and one of these is PLACE. In Italian POSTS is POST even if it is a plural noun. Then, when I attend one of your courses, I'll tell you how best to write your last sentence in Italian. ķœ“ź°€ ģž˜ ė³“ė‚“ģ„øģš”, ģ„ ģƒė‹˜ šŸ™‹šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ’š

I was thinking about that! It's the same with "video" as in "i miei video". You made a spelling mistake this time! It's ķ•œźø€, not ķ•œźµ“šŸ˜‚ Thank you very much for correcting my Italian signora!

This was so interesting to read! I already knew about the sky, land, human part, but it's always nice to have a refresher as sometimes I can't remember which one is the dot and which is the vertical line! I really liked the part about some vowels being bright and the others dark and how that translates to words to show they're opposites in a way. Thank you!

It is very cool to see this again, the very first video I ever saw was this:

https://youtu.be/0ZhOeA0RD9o?t=226

So luckily I knew about this from the beginning, but she did not cover the positive and negative, so this is a great addition thanks, especially to help me remember the difference between 慚 and 慟 where if its positive "this is the 慚(way)" and if I spend too much time on the "慟" (wii) this is not positive. Of course, since right means correct right can be positive too.
