OK then we are having a similar experience. I find it hard to believe I am mispronouncing 오십 but it is plausible that I haven't got 콩콩칠가방 . 💼😊

Hi Shaun 🙂

Thank you for this very helpful Hangeul lesson 🤗

My favorit consonant is the ㅂ like bed, because I am always sleepy after a day of hard work 😅

Sunny greetings from Germany ☀️

It's been a while since you posted a newsletter. Are you not using it going forward? I have a question that my use of Duolingo has prompted. There are 4 short phrases that Doulingo denies me as badly pronounced...오, 오십, 일초, 콩콩칠가방 these 4 denials have left me puzzled. Who can't say "oh"? After a streak of 144 days I am ready to throw duolingo out! Any advice? Any similar experience on the app?

Hi Donna

I have certain words/sounds that Duolingo tells me I get wrong; for me it most often happens when the high pitched female voice has done the demo... I don't know if it tries to voicematch or what?!! But then other times Duolingo tells me I have pronounced it correctly when I am only halfway through the set of sentences... I think its probably best to take it with a grain of salt if you know you definitely are saying it the same way as native speakers 😊

Hi Sem

This is extremely helpful in remembering all the consonants. I had issues with the R(Rattlesnake) and L (Ladder) and now I know how to distinguish them when reading.

Thank you

My favorite consonant is ㅇ, it is the easiest to manage for my brain without second guessing myself 😂😂

안녕하세요 Buster. I loved how you explained the fourth group of consonants. ㅅ,ㅈ,ㅊ. Standing, Jogging, Chasing. Although I already have learned the consonants pretty well. It's the vowels I'm having trouble with. I'm pretty sure you'll be getting around to posting a lesson for this. Thanks for all your hard work.

선생님 잘 주무셨어요?

I used the visual learning technique but with Italian sounds and words to explain Korean alphabet to my students. They showed so much interest that a lot of them were able to read Korean in much less time than it took me to learn it.

아이들 운이참좋다.

선생님, 다시 한 번 감사합니다!🙇🏼‍♀️

다음에 또 봐! 🙋🏼‍♀️💚
