Hello I'm having trouble reading four letter syllables. Like this one. 읽다. To read. Are there any tips you can give for reading these kinds of syllables?
For this particular word, you need to pronounce both ㄹ and ㄱ but it's going to be different every time you have two different consonants at the bottom so you will just need to learn as you encounter them!
감사합니다 I got the last one wrong. Great explanation. I need to do a better job of listening to how it would sound vs just mechanically following the rules. Have a good weekend, 선생님!
I got all of them right except that tricky last one! I had the concept right, but when I was trying to sound it out I was thinking it would sound more like ㅛ but didn't figure the word would end with ㅛ twice. I just couldn't get to ㅕ. I'm still figuring out compound vowels!

That's a hard one the ㄹ andㄱ together
Thanks Buster for answering my question right away.

I’m pretty sure I missed the part about combining vowels.☺️

Thank you for explaining this, I was a bit lost.. Now is much clearer in my head. 정말 감사합니다!~🙏🏻😊
Perfect!
Great lesson. It's very clear.
Thank you!
But somewhere I read that verbs with the last vowel ~ ㅡ have a special conjugation, or like some additional rules. Or is it always with ~ㅓ?
Not very sure what you are referring to. But as I have stated, not all verbs will follow this rule! There will be many exceptions.

Thank you so much for this lesson/explanation. It makes so much more sense now. It clicked and I had a "light bulb" moment, Lol. Have a great week!
I love when the light bulb goes "ding"! Indeed a beautiful moment when learning a language!
